It took 423 years to hit the 100 million mark, 52 years to add another 100 million, and 39 years to reach this point. At this rate, the 400 millionth person will arrive in 2043, either by being cloned, getting off a hypersonic shuttle, or if you're an alarmist, teleporting across the border illegally.
